Richey started singing out of necessity years ago; Many of the first bands he was in had a hard time finding a singer. He stepped up to what he thought would be a temporary position that quickly became permanent.
After playing in different bands with styles ranging from acoustic folk, to late 80’s college radio to thrash, Richey and an old bandmate started a 2-man MIDI band that they played in for over 5 years. Skeletal Remains played hard rock in a variety venues. Richey played lead guitar and sang, as well as programmed drum, bass, and lighting scenes via a midi sequencer.
Richey joined Flipper & Shawn to form MomzAttic in the late nineties.
When he isn't jamming or working, he enjoys graphic arts, red wine, and sushi.
